Monday Meltdown #5
Due to circumstances beyond our control, we apologize for not having the Inside Look for Saturday. Let's make up for it with a big Monday!!!
Race 1: They are going to be hard pressed to beat Selectric in this spot. Major post improvement after getting shuffled out of contention in his last. This off of an impressive win 2 starts back in a likely needed start. Due to the fact she is likely to be a heavy favorite, we'll have to go the gimmick route to try and make some cash. $1 Tri Wheel 2 with 34578 with 34578. Total $20.
Race 2: Going to try Key Island in this bottom Cond level. Obviously has speed to overcome the poor post and has raced alot better in his last two starts. Carlson returns and there isn't much speed inside of him. $2 Tri 9 with 46 with 4567. Total $12.
Race 3: Obviously with any 2 YO race your going to have alot of unanswered questions. A horse that improved dramatically in his last start however is Bolder. He draws the rail and he should be in line for a real nice trip here. $1 Tri wheel 1 with 246 with 246. Total $6.
Race 4: Barring a miscue, Shesapistol should roll here. Looked real impressive last week and now gets a big post shift. KR's Laser Lady should be the top contender and then after that, it's a crap shoot. $1 Tri wheel 3 with 457 with 3579. Total $9.
Race 5: Here we go with the highly regarded Cowboy's Dreamer in this 2 YO Filly Stakes race. She wowed Hazel nation and beyond in her baby race on June 8 with a jaw dropping 26.3 last quarter that gave her a going away victory. She will be extremely undervalued and she is coming off a month. If she can't live up to the hype, Tweerific will be there to pick up the pieces. Bridgejump on a 2YO filly anyone? $10 win and SHOW on #7. Total $20.
Race 6: A li'l Wiggle Room draws the outside for the 3rd straight week and doesn't seem to have the tactical speed to overcome it HOWEVER the stakes season is what she has been pointed for and the probability of her bringing her A-Game tonight is pretty high. Maybe surprising value with this one as Mr Wrenn from post 5 will attract alot of wagering attention. $10 WP 8. Total $20.
Race 7: 2 YO Stakes time again and The Upside had a pretty good showing despite having a troubled trip in his last. The winner of that race went on and raced pretty well here a few nights back. Minor post improve and short field should insure a good journey. $1 Tri wheel 2 with 356 with 356. Total $6.
Race 8: Keno Vicky has improved to good form over the past few starts. She really raced well in Toledo last week off of a 26 day layoff and she's back on the seen with Wallis here tonight. The 9 hole is a tough road to bare but she has speed to overcome it in a race that doesn't have that much speed. She gets our support. $10 WP 9. Total $20.
Race 9 -We are not getting off the I've Got the Desire bandwagon yet. I think we've picked this horse 4 straight week sand he hasn't even hit the board but this time maybe the charm. He drops in class and gets first time Kramer. The Lighter Side can surely be tough considering his recent form. $1 Tri 8 with 26 with 123568. Total $10.
Race 10: Alot of speed in here is setting up for Winsome Wonder to take it away in the final steps. She has a great late kick and Wallis has a knack for timing this mares move. $1 Tri 6 with 2347 with 2347. Total $12.
Race 11: First time Wrenn on Armbro Beijing and this is a real risky pick because he did not race well at all last week. He raced decent in defeat 2 back against much tougher and big in victory 3 back against a tremendous claiming field. I guess the question is which Beijing are we going to see tonight. $1 Tri 6 with 1357 with 1357. Total $12.
Race 12: Easiest field that Getcha Sum Cash has seen in quite some time. Fair amount of speed to set up for his terrific last burst. Fantasy Beau raced good in a needed start then looked like a different start in his latest. First time Wallis. $1 Tri 28 with 128 with 125678. Total $16.
Race 13: It appears Dogwood Ardle has been racing himself back into form and could be sitting on a real big effort. Raced good back on the 15th against a tough winner. No chance last out after being parked out from the word go. First time Wrenn to boot. $4 exactas 7 with 346. Total $12.
Race 14: Just not sure if anyone can hang with the pace of Bronson Hall. He broke after setting a pretty fast pace in his last. With that HUGE question mark laying over this race, we are going to pass. Total $0.
Race 15: Kind of like race 14, it's so tough to go against what is going to be a strong betting favorite in Amasa Al. He looked really good in his victory last week and if he brings that to the table, I just don't see how they can beat him tonight. No chance of value equals no wager. Total $0.
Total Investment $175.
