Friday Focus #11

Race 1:
We really like Roan Cody in this spot. He can race from on or off the lead and he should benefit greatly with the better post. Second start at this class but that was a tougher field last week. Sure Thing drops as well and gets first time Dan Johnson.

Race 2:
A Sign of Rose faced a real tough field in her Hazel Park debut last start. She draws inside once again and keeps Wallis. AJ Camotion could be a longshot to consider. Her last 2 starts were much improved and if she can continue to come forward, she rates a share at a nice price.
$2 exacta 3 with 689. Wager $6. 10 cent super 368 with 36789 with 236789 with 236789. Wager $14.40. Total $20.40.

Race 3:
Got Lucky appears to have met a field she can hold off. She was roughed up around that first turn last week and had every right to tire. There isn't any speed in this race today so things will be much more inviting near the front end. Beware of Red Neck Style. This is the first time in a long time he has been in this low.

Race 4:
Lani's Raider raced very well against a tough group of F&M claimers last out and she has found a good spot here to get on overdue win. Kel's Comet gets a big post improvement after leaving from the outside last week and never getting a hole. Copeland returns.
$2 Trifecta 7 with 136 with 136. Total $12.

Race 5:
Looking for a price from the rail with Kam Rin Rin. Last start no chance from post 9. 3 starts back he was parked from the word go. Draws the rail and first time Merriman. 4th start of the year should be a little tighter. My Cowgirl faced tougher last out at the fairs and raced well here at this class back in June. Lindsays Shark is a must use in all gimmicks.
$1 Tri 15 with 125 with 1259. Total $8.

Race 6:
My Boy Tom is really sharp right now and just came flying to win that last against this same class. Chips a Lloyd gets first time Art after some real big efforts. Fitforalifetime is sure to show speed from the inside.
$1 Trifecta 56 with 56 with 1248. Total $8.

Race 7:
It's Benn Good was flying to get the victory last week against easier. Takes the step up in class but we believe that last race was a breakout in form and I believe this guy can take a successful class hike. Joke Teller came up huge last out second time lasix. Draws the rail again and should be a factor tonight.
$2 exacta 17 with 1379. Total $12.

Race 8:
Gina Raider takes a double drop in class with Crawford returning. She draws inside to boot. SF Dakota drops in class and gets first time Art while yet another dropper Age of Consent is red hot.
$4 Exacta 26 with 267. Total $8.

Race 9:
Last time we saw Artistic Jonathon he broke at the start at this class. Since he has qualified and raced well in his last two starts at Sarnia. He was on quite a terror here earlier in the meet and he can handle these if form prohibits. T Red is sharp right now. He faced a tough winner last out and keeps Wallis. 2nd time lasix and first time Johnson for Change Your Luck from the rail.
$2 Exacta 5 with 123689. Total $12.

Race 10:
Twin B Excalibur tracked Home Stretch every step of the way last week and finished a solid second. He should be on the lead tonight and will be tough to catch. Armbro Approach is really due for a good effort. He owned this class last year and is still searching for that form that won him 11 of 24 last year. Wattafine's form may have dulled after his streak of 4 straight wins. Let's watch.

Race 11:
This is going to be a real good race and we are going to go to the upstart Ima Forget Me Not. She has displayed a sharp late kick in nearly all of her starts so far in 2009. It's only her second start at the top level but I think she walked the walk last week with a quick closing fourth. With Faithfully and Silveresque the inside speed, Queen of Royalty may have tough treading early.
$5 WP 5. Total $10.

Race 12:
Lunch Wagon Bob has had the toughest trips imaginable and despite all that has been right there in the end. Improved post should help him greatly. Thistraindontstop faced a sharp field last out and Moody drove him well against a real tough winner 2 back.

Race 13:
Sail With The Wind is coming off of two straight heart breakers in this class. He draws well again and figures to once again use his speed to his advantage. After that it's pretty wide open. Madey Mac had a tough trip last week and should be better tonight. The ageless Blue Oxfords has been racing in good form recently. My Boy Jeff drops.

Race 14:
Very interesting affair. Going to take a small shot at a price with Doc's Werewolf. Lindsay seems to get along with this horse real well. He had a bit of a tough trip last week but still managed to finish second to a horse that was dropping in class. Let's give him a shot.

Race 15:
I think Thea's Cam maybe sitting on a big effort here. She scratched sick after a series of fading efforts. She comes back to show much better stamina in a decant outing at Fowlerville. She draws well, gets first time Johnson, and first time cond claimers.
