Saturday Slam #11

Race 1 :
We loved Bavarian Rose last out and she was flying in the late stages last week to just miss. Back in against similar and she is versatile in racing style. We'll give her another chance. Dayzee Dukes is probably the one to beat. She is an open mare pacer in quite cheap here and she loves this track.
$2 Tri 13 with 137 with 1367. Total $16.

Race 2 :
Luke Man has had some extremely tough trips out in posts 8,8, and 9 in his last 3. Moves down to the rail and that has to be a welcome sight to his connections. Deringer Gun gets a shot at overnights after a pretty good effort despite a tough trip against stakes competition. Rei Rogers was a runaway train last week that sizzled half and 3 quarters before tiring.
$5 Exacta 1 with 35. Total $10.

Race 3 :
Cody's Revenge is going to be tough to beat if she can stay flat. Big mile the week prior on the front end and that's where she is headed tonight if she can mind her manners. All Joy has the speed to leave and may get the trip behind the leader like she did 2 starts back. SF Foxy gets post improvement.
$2 Tri 57 with 57 with 18. Wager $8. $2 exacta 5 with 18. Wager $4. Total $12.

Race 4 :
Annie Annie Oakley is the one to beat without question, however there are a few horses that we are looking for improvement from. Static Flow was shuffled out of contention last week in Toledo against a pretty decent field. Keokee Silver made her first start off of a scratch sick and may have needed that one.

Race 5 :
We liked Sharon The Luck last week and she raced well in the late going. That was her first start in 3 weeks and she maybe a little tighter now against a very soft field. Bumbleb'zlady faced a sharp cond. claiming crew last out and is back against the bottom cond level with an improved post. Improvement maybe coming from Azure Victoria with Arthur back in the bike.
$3 Exactas 6 with 2379. Total $12.

Race 6 :
It's going to be very tough to beat My Boy Jeff in this spot. Class drop/post improvement for Jeff tonight. Last at this class, he raced extremely well despite a tough trip. Beware of I'm Gettin Mad. Form is a big issue but his last race here back in June was a huge effort against a hot horse in Daisy Baraness at the time. May have needed that last start off the scratch sick.
$3 Trifecta 2 with 567 with 567. Total $12.

Race 7 :
Eng Amer Bella Dew gets first time Carlson and a class drop. Very tough trip for our charge last out as well. Buckeye Doug is very sharp and last time he was at this class, he finished a distant 3rd to the tough YF Meemo. His form has sharpened since that start. Caviar's Dream is coming off of a good qualifier.
$2 exacta 6 with 1348. Total $8.

Race 8 :
Enough Hanover is always tough at this class and is the one to beat off the drop. Daddy Mac, Shockbyelectric, Cammabis and Armbro Billow are all contenders in here. Demand value whatever you decide to do in this very tough high end Open.

Race 9 :
Color Me cam was very impressive down in Toledo. Takes on tougher here and did struggle against this competition in his first few starts of the year, but he has seemed to put it all together. ML Gambler takes a needed rest and had success against these types earlier in the year. Virtual Cowboy has a good late kick and could be the beneficiary if the speed falters.
$3 exacta 7 with 1358. Total $12.

Race 10 :
This has the ability to be an extremely active Invite so we are going to take a shot with Infinite Justice. Think this horse is improving under the raider here. Closed solidly against a slow half last out. Just missed against Real Samart 2 back. We'll look for the price play here. Real Samart is red hot after 2 stretch rushing victories against these. Lead The Stampede is always a threat at this level.
$3 Exacta Box 2 with 37. Total $12.

Race 11 :
Front Page should big time improvement last out after stopping in the 3 starts prior. Very talented 5 YO is up in class after that last effort but is an Invite pacer when all systems are sailing. Tattlers Top Gun had a ton of pace last week but no where to go against similar. Singin Blues had a tough trip. First time Wallis.
$5 Exactas 5 with 267. Total $15.

Race 12 :
Clear The Decks was a powerful winner last out against Spartan Pride who came back to win big last night. Electric Gladiator had a tough trip last out from post 9. Better post may mean better striking position tonight. Tobinsabu could be the dark horse.
$2 Trifecta 6 with 457 with 457. Total $12.

Race 13 :
The Other Side was closing fast last week after leaving and then getting pushed back. That was in what could have been a needed start. Mr Innocent was shuffled back as well last start and should be better tonight.
$4 Tri 4 with 35 with 235. Total $16.

Race 14 :
Going to take a shot here with Virtual Princess. Found herself on the lead last out and that's really not her game. We will give her another chance tonight. Success Brings Joy was a consistent threat at the bottom claiming level for mares. Her last start against tougher at RP and she closed for the win. Fly to the Angles should have a good trip here from the rail.
$5 WP 6. Total $10.

Race 15 :
Going to take a stab with Futurity Hanover in here. This race could set up for an active early half and if that's the case, our charge has a good enough late kick to exploit it. Happyville is the one to beat off of her win at this class last out. Angels Awe could be a sleeper with the improved post.
$1 Tri Wheel 4 with 158 with 158. Wager $6. $2 exacta box 148. Wager $12. Total $18.
