Monday Meltdown #2

Race 1 selection - HURRICANE HANNA
Our pick came off of a month layoff 2 starts back and showed no rust. Her last was solid into a fast back half. This barn always classifies horses to perfection and she figures to have a good showing here. Probable favorite Just Dani meets similar after a tough trip in her last. One More Moondance invades with solid credentials and CC Kloe is a good Longshot to use underneath.

Race 2 selection - BENNS LEGEND
Has been runner up to the tough Keyodee Star in two straight performances. Had to swing out wide in his last off a rail trip and finished with a good amount of trot. With the field a little easier, and other betting options available, we hope to get a decent price. SF Foxy is a longshot to consider coming off of a real good qualifier.

Race 3 selection - PETE'S BROTHER
Ran into a buzz saw last week when Cooper's Niece opened up a can on the field. This field is tons easier and void of speed. There won't be much of a price so we'll have to try and get fancy in the gimmicks. Liked Ashley Paige last week and she was too far back to that tough winner. She should be better this week. Wood Artist should continue improvement as well.

Race 4 selection - SAY IT BEST
Changed strategies last week and it worked to perfection. This horse started coming around 2 starts ago when he flew in the late stages of the race. His main competition tonight is Cadillac Kid. It may have been a needed start for this 3 YO last week and he should be a little tighter tonight. Watch out for Biker Babe also. Two straight weeks of the 9 hole took its toll and the rail is a welcome sight.

Race 5 selection - SF DOMINATE
Came from way back in a needed start 2 back. Met open 4,000 claimers last week at Pompano and that is a tough class considering they write cond/claimers for the same tag. First time Brad helps. Poh Poh is a big longshot to consider here. Ran up against a tough Metallic last time at Raceway and this field is real suspect. Post makes price here.

Race 6 selection - KEEP YOUR SHIRT ON
Brad returns and the field is weaker. Post shift should help as well. Other then that, we are really looking for a price in a race where you SHOULD look for a price. Favorites are all very vulnerable.

Race 7 selection - SF STAMPEDE
No doubt our pick will display early speed. Raced well against a tough 10,000 claiming group last week, and this field in no way is nearly as talented. A longshot to watch is Sharkskin. An improved effort last week and this field isn't any stronger. May have to come from last so best used underneath.

Race 8 selection - CHIP OF NORDIC
ALERT: only 20-1 or better. Was hot in March Threw in a clunker at Hoosier 2 back and then took over a month off. Broke up his return and now draws outside. Carlson returns and we are hoping for a lot of speed up front. If that's the case, we could have a boxcar mutuel on our hands.

Race 9 selection - BOLD RAIDER
Our pick is going up in class but that's ok. When Carlson said go last week at Raceway, he took off in a close home of 28. Should have striking position here and has had success over this oval in the past. Armbro Beijing, Shark Dressed Man and others should secure a fast pace. Looking for 8-1 or over.

Race 10 selection - SHARK'S REIGN
She can race from on or off the pace. After a couple of near misses, this looks to be the spot. Top contenders include Howdy Partner, who sports a lot of speed, and SBD First Blood who has a lot of speed as well.

Race 11 selection - COOPER'S NIECE
I really hate eating chalk but do we really have a choice in here? First Time Lasix and First time barn really led to vast improvement and she's probably going to be tough as nails again. Longshot to watch is Sea Slicker. Qualified well and had success over the fair circuit last year. Spartan Pride goes from Po at 9 to Post 2.

Race 12 selection - ANDY'S LEGACY
Made a good move last week against tough winner Summer Vacation. She beat similar 3 starts back at the Ville. Kel's Comet has a lot of late kick and figures to put it to good use. Watch Armbro Caruso first time Brad.
